main difference between oracle 9i and 10g are,
1. in 9i we need to start archiver process but in 10g archiver process has started automatically
2. in 10g one more datafile is added named Sysaux to reduce the load of system. and datafile can also be small and big in 10g.
3. two Background process are added in 10g apart from 9i named CTWR(Change Tracking Writer) and RVWR(Recovery Writer).
4.In 10g ASM(automatic Storage Management) feature is added.
5. In 10g AWR(Automatic Workload Repository) and ADDM(Automatic Database Diagnostic Monitor) feature are added but it is not in 9i.
